F.A.Q.
Can I have my home city as a Hub?
Yes - If you let us know what airport is closest to you home city, we will make that a "hub" for you. Reme, ber that you do not have to fly in and out of this hub all the time, it's simply there to show where you want ot located in the world!
Immediately after the flight if possible. We recomend that you use FsPassengers or FSACARS as this will help automate the process for you.
Can I fly at a higher simulation rate?
We prefer if you don'tbut if you do, we recommend a maximum 1x simulation speed when when climbing or descending and when flying on line. Otherwise we ask that you restrict time acceleration to no greater than 4x. Pilots who are found to be abusing this will be suspended.
The pilot should try to use the aircraft that is set for the route/flight. You can either use our free version or if you have another equivalent version (such as payware) you can use that. Make sure you change the regerstration number if you are going to file aoutomatically.
Do I have to fly a flight at the same time it is scheduled?
We do not require pilots to fly the flights at the time real-world indicated in our timetable, but we do encourage you to set the FS Clock to this time. Flight plans which are dowloaded from us should have the time set correctly for you.
What is a HUB? Do I have to always fly in and out of the hub?
A hub is a main airport for the airline in real life. We use hubs simply as a way of locating what part of the world you are in.
You do not have to fly in and out of the hub. Because we want you to explore the world, we would rather that you pick flights which interest you anywhere in the world!
How long will it take to process my application to join?
Most applications will be processed and aprroved straight away. Delays will only occur if we are updating the site but these are normally only 10-15 minutes
How often must I fly in order to retain my position in the ranks?
Pilots are expected to carry about a flight once a month in order to but we do not retire you unless you've gone past 90 days. Pilots who are inactive simply need to file a pirep to regain thier active status
You can file your flights using FsPassengers in either FS2004 or FSX. Just log in and download the configuration file to your "config-va" folder within the FsPassengers folder.
