Flight Overhaul

Posted by Explore Virtual CEO on 02/16/2010

As a result of moving more and more towards FSX, it is time to re-assess many of the routes and fleet as they were being under used. So we have gone back to basics and have done the following.

Cessna 182 and Baron B58 routes have been confined to Alaska. It's a great location to start your career and many of the flights have some interesting mountain passes and short (and gravel) runways to land on

Saab 340 flight are being re-allocated in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland.

Boeing 717 flights have been consolidated around regional Australia. A small expansion possibly in Mexico is being considered.

Boeing 737-300 and 737-400 around Australia and Europe are now being re-released. 737-800 across the USA will follow thereafter

We would love to hear what you would want to see in our fleet and where you would like to see us expand to. Please contact us and we will try to accomadate your wishes.

FSACARS

Posted by Explore Virtual CEO on 01/14/2010

Remember that you can file flights using FS ACARS. We can now confirm that it works with FSX running windows 7 64 bit. Just remember you have to install FSUIPC (available from the pilot download section  as well)

Cessna 182 FSX

Posted by Explore Virtual CEO on 12/18/2009

Our smallest aircraft, the Cessna 182 has been added to the download list. It is currently used for flights in Spain (easy flights) and Alaska (for something more challenging). Just download it and unzip it to your aircraft folder. A self install version should be available soon.

Transfer to New Servers Done

Posted by Explore Virtual CEO on 10/21/2009

Our transfer to our new webhost has been completed and all pilot records should be back up online. One of the advantagea is that we will be running for at least the next 3 years (with the intention of much much longer). This means you can join up and fly with us secure in the knowledge that we will be around for a long long time. Please note if you find any broken links, email us and we we should be able to fix it within 24 hours
